Why we started Weld

I'm very excited to announce that we have launched Weld. We've set out on a mission to enable all companies to become more data-driven and in the last few months we have worked hard to get the product ready for production.

Weld lets you move customer data from your data warehouse into all your business SaaS apps such as Hubspot, Salesforce and Intercom in a matter of minutes. With that you can build powerful CRM workflows and marketing campaigns.

The Weld team has also come together in an amazing way and with our background in B2B SaaS building modern data infrastructure and analytics, we think we're able to breathe some fresh air into the industry.

In general, companies today are using an increasing amount of SaaS tools for sales, marketing, support etc. which leads to data being scattered everywhere. A lot of messy infrastructure has been built to solve this with point-to-point integrations. However, this can actually make the initial problem worse, as you don't have a single source of truth for your data.

Therefore, in the last couple of years, the modern data warehouses have been widely adopted to be the foundation where companies have their single source of truth.

Usually, the data is then only used for analytics purposes, but Weld exists to enable companies to activate the data within the data warehouse into all their SaaS tools.

The use-cases are many. For example, you could get notified in Hubspot or Salesforce in real-time when a customer completes an onboarding step. You could prioritize your support tickets in Intercom based on a customer's recent product usage or customer health score. You could create hyper-targeted audiences and run retargeting ad campaigns on Facebook based on feature usage. The list goes on and on. The benefit of this is that Weld turns data into a powerful tool that can be used by teams everywhere to work smarter.

Over the coming months, we will be adding new integrations every week and accelerating our vision of helping all companies to become data-driven.
